As a salmon fisher since 1951 and a fly tyer since 1939 I must tell you that your Jock Olson patternis beautifully dressed. I still fish salmon in Canada every year but we fish most hairwing patterns.They are tough and effective. Always dreamed of fishing the Tana but it must remain a dream.Great web site.

Fisker i Brumunda som er en av Norges beste ørretelver. Den fører ørret på vei opp fra Mjøsa. Fisk fra 1 kg til 5 kg. Min pers på flue er 2460g.

Jag fiskar på Lars-pol vecka 36 alltid , jag älskar den polen som har gett mig många granna Kludd -ar,Havsöringar och Laxar. Förra årets vecka gav mig fem Havsöringar mellan 1,8kg-3.6kg och en Kludd på 3,8kg samt en Lax på7,85kg. Laxen var helt lusad och i mycket bra kondition. I fish mainly in salt water and we have tournament here in Iceland about seven tournaments every year. we can catch upto 500-600 kilos on some tournament per person and we fish for two days and 8 hours each day. I love this sport since we never know what´s on the hook.

Hei og takk for fine sider ang. fluefiske.Jeg har en kommentar til anbefalt fluevalg ved fiske i Tisleia, Nord Aurdal.På siden som omtaler Tislea anbefales olivenfargede tørrfluer.Jeg har fisket i denne elva i over 25 år og de største fangstene har jeg tatt på store nymfer Montana, Black Stone o.l. krok nr. 6-8.I de deler av elva hvor det er dype kulper står ofte den STORE fisken dypt og er skjelden villig til å gå opp å snuse på tørrfluer.Da jeg for noen år tilbake begynte å bruke store nymfer ristet de "innfødte" på hodet, men etter noen fine fangster har de sluttet med det. Så hvis noen av dere har tenkt å prøve lykken i TISLEIA,- ikke glem nymfene. Skitt fiske !! Hilsen Per Winsjansen.

Hei Jeg har en gård til Holsfjorden/Tyrifjorden. Der renner en bekk. For 80 år siden holdt min oldefar den bekken vedlike og åpen. Dette innebar at han måtte grave og passe på at den ikke skiftet leie. Dengang fisket de mye ørret i bekken og rett utenfor. I dag går den delvis under bakken og oset endrer seg stadig. I tillegg tror vi dreneringen av myrene på Krokskogen gjør at vi får mer ujevn vannføring i bekken, hvilket forårsaker flom når det regner og svært lite vannføring i tørre perioder. Jeg kunne ha morro av å prøve å få liv i bekken igjen. Spørsmålet er når går ørreten opp, og når går yngelen ut? Hvor stor må bekken være? Hvis dere ikke kan svare, hvor kan jeg finne informasjon? I was with my friend in Norway last year(20-30.6.98)on the Gaula river, but we didn`t see any salmon at all. What is wrong with this river? Where can we go this year for fishing?
