The knowledge about fishing is vast but sport fishing will always be associated with hope and a little luck. We invite you to fish the sea and coastal waters off southern Norway, on the coast outside Risør and Tvedestrand. Some of the enjoyable attributes of a fishing trip are the expectations; choose the right equipment, gather on the quay and discuss previous and prospective fishing achievements, the boat trip out full of hopes that the big fish is waiting just out there, on that ground or this rock ledge, the choice of bait and the releasing «plop» when the bait and hook disappear into the dark sea. First comes a little snatch, then a strong bite on the hook. The fish is on and the rod is bending over... Here are a variety of chartered trips and permanent sea fishing trips, on offer, with a skipper who knows a lot about fishing and who can rent out the equipment you need. You can find over night stops - cabins, pensions and hotels - where many have made it is easy for you to prepare your good catches. Facilities are provided for gutting your fish plus freezing and packaging. You can also join professional fishermen when they drag the line and empty the crab and lobster pots.
