Hamresanden

This picture shows Hamresanden at the outlet of the river
Tovdalselva.
This is one of the
largest and most visited beaches in the area of Kristiansand and a large camping site is
located here. As indicated by the picture the Kjevik airport is situated on the other side
of the river. The beach is hundreds of metres of shallow water where sea-trout go hunting at night.
Because the fuzz created by campers is heavy during summer months, the best fishing is in spring
and autumn. If you'd give it a try during summer go at late night/early morning.
