The farm with cattle is near by. Among the activities we offer are summer and winter sports, fishing and hunting.
We are proud of our special Salmo-Suldal species which is one of the best in the world. The salmon takes to the sea after two years and most return after five to six years. Our fishing records show many seasons with an average weight of over ten kilos (22 pounds). Our salmon species is famous for its rapid growth at sea. The biggest salmon caught in Suldalslågen is 34 kg. In Suldal you do not queue up to fish. There are a limited number of rods on every beat, which increases your chances for a big one.
