Harling in Namsen. Good teamwork between the angler
and the boatsman is the key to success.

Harling, where an angler and a local boatsman shuttle between each of the riverbanks, letting the wobbler, spoon or fly in the end of two rods slowly move downstream towards the upsteam moving fish, has proven an excellent, and comfortable method of fishing the long glides of Namsen. However, there are many places in Namsen suitable for fishing from the shore, both with the fly and a spoon.
