This is a river where a single-handed rod is useless. This holds true
because you sometimes need to reach far out and because of the
strong currents. You will better manage to slow the fly drift a bit with a long rod and
the currents will force you to cast again and again and.....
In some places spey casting is an advantage. Tubeflies of moderate sizes are much used and
the colours seems to be off less importance as long as they are black.
