Running through farmed country this river offers charming scenery and good fishing in spring and autumn. Imagine this one with a water level two to three feet higher. Waiting for things to improve the large ones hide beneath big stones. Before running into Mjøsa the river feeds water into the fish ladder at Skreia. Fishing is forbidden in autumn in the part near the lake to preserve the natural stock of giants in Mjøsa. The picture is taken at a bridge upstream from Kraby.
