 The mountains......
Nu er jeg stålsat, jeg følger det bud,
der byder i højden at vandre!
Mit lavlandsliv har jeg levet ud;
heroppe på vidden er frihet og Gud,
dernede famler de andre.

Few people enters the mountains for the fish only. The words by Henrik Ibsen expresses exactly why we take on the expedition to travel into these areas. There is only two places on earth where you can feel realy free; the mountains with its thin air and clear sky, and at sea where the horizons is the only limit.

We use the word expedition because most distances must be travelled by foot. In addition to this comes the fact that whatever you need, you have to carry it. Among the things you must bring, apart from the fishing equipment, is a map and compass and some warm clothes and rain/wind gear.

The photographs you will find here shows alot of magnificent views, but few big fishes. This is what you will normally experience up here, so do bring something to eat as well.

We have included a map with comments on this page! (some javasnutter included)
