Grøsse / Grønnsetersjø
The name Grøsse is a short form used today. The name of the lake in days long gone was
Grønset-sæ or Grønnsetersjø.
Grønnsetersjø can be directly translated to "The Lake of Green Slopes and Mountain Dairy
Farms". Sounds beautiful? It is, but we have no excellent pictures of it yet
and refuse to use anything but the best for this place.
For a fisherman it is a disaster as the trout dissapeared some twenty years ago,
as usual because of acidification.
