Tag : Some turn’s of oval silver size 14 Veniard
Tip : Red seal fur
Tail : Two crest from golden pheasant, (short ones !).
Body : Black seal’s fur, or substitute.
Rib : Oval silver Veniard # 14 - 15
Ving : Underwing made of some fibres of Lureflash TW # 12 black.
Over: Brown spotted Siberian squirrel.
Hackle : Black cock or hen, throut hackle: Some blue jay fibres.
Head: : Black
This Irish pattern was made for dark, rocky bottoms, such as Irish lakes and rivers. It is a
good flie for evenings and night fishing, but you can also use it in daytime in the
smaller sizes.
