Sail Wing Dun
by André Brun

The Sail Wing technique produces a fan-shaped wing made of two small bundles of fibers, one in front of the other. The wing has a broad profile, but very little frontal area. The wing design was first published in Fly Tyer, Number 1, Spring 1999 and in Alt om Fiske Number 6, 1999. The Sail Wing technique can be used on any traditional medium to small size fly pattern.
