The house is comfortably, rather than luxuriously furnished. Its walls are decorated with photographs of some of the catches of the last hundred years, as well as with the beautiful splitcane fly rods and the nets with which they were caught. The main house has on the ground floor two interconnecting sitting rooms, a dining room and four bedrooms (one- twin-bedded and three singles). The kitchen has an adjoining pantry and larder and is equipped with an electric cooker, a dishwasher, two fridges and a deepfreeze. There are two bathrooms, each with a bath, a separate shower unit, wash basin and WC. An extension to one end of the house provides another sitting room or children’s room, one single and two more twin-bedded rooms, and a separate WC.  

At the other end of the house a large veranda overlook the garden. Upstairs in the main house there is a drying room and other bedrooms not normally available. Five of the bedrooms have their own wash basins and all have sunblind for those who like to sleep on after fishing all through the night. There are electric wall heaters throughout the house and some firewood is also available, but as it is a wooden house guests are particularly asked to take great care with the open fire. A telephone (+47-716-96-101) is equipped with a meter- giving the cost of all calls so that these can be paid for to the housekeeper before your departure. There is some garden furniture and also a barbecue set, so that you can eat out in the garden when the weather is fine.
